With the advent of F280049C device and its support for cJTAG only, the need to support multiple device scan chains are more proeminent (multi-phase controller systems, for example).

Therefore, this request is to add support for star and/or series topologies to the mainstream cJTAG Debug Probes that support microcontrollers.
