As there is no way to acquire the ADC semaphore prior to the open() call, there is no way to use this feature alone to support sharing the ADC between the ARM core and the Sensor Controller. In order to fully support coexistence with the Sensor Controller ADC usage, there need to be an option to acquire the ADC semaphore during the open() call. This need to be done prior to setting up the Hwi as a Sensor Controller conversion will cause this to trigger.
