      When launching the debugger and loading a very specific executable, where a local variable is declared as a union, the CCS workbench vanishes immediately after launch (sometimes it disappears sometime after finish launching).

      After vanishing, the ccstudio.exe process still runs for about 2 minutes and closes itself.

      This was observed on MSP430 development kits (FR5969 Launchpad) and on CCSv8.0.0 with CGT 18.1.1 and CCSv8.1.0 with CGT 18.1.2.
