Installer should add the local user to the serial port group to avoid the need of modifying permissions of chrome-sandbox

      For Ubuntu version 24 and greater, it is necessary to modify the permissions of chrome-sandbox as mentioned in the link below:

      This is handled by a post-install script that the user would run with sudo. One suggestion is for the installer to simply add the local user to the serial port group to avoid the need of the user modifying permissions of chrome-sandbox (whether manually or via script) and that there is no reason this needs to run as root.
