In the old UI, you can select a prior run and start train or compile from that point.  This makes it easy to create a new run with say one parameter difference, rather than having to go through the new Training Run Wizard.  The Training Properties view needs to be writable, and when changed the user should have the option of starting a new Training run based on the changed properties.
