The Watch view does not highlight changed values in red when the view is refreshed while the target is running. This applies both to a manual and continuous refresh behavior. Note that there is a caveat to this comment. The actual behavior is the Watch view keep the color of when the target was last halted. It is red, then it will stay red while the target is running. If it grey, then it will stay grey when running. And this applies to whether the value changed or not.
