A host VS extension API and Controller update is required to allow the Host/Application to configure a Default Channel Map. The API and related functional behaviour shall :

• Perform the same Channel Map input validation as HCI_LE_Set_Host_Channel_Classification Bluetooth HCI Command
• Only utilize the specific Channel Map for new connections that are requested or formed after the API is called
• Not modify the existing Channel Map for any existing or requested connections
• On power up or upon a Controller (HCI) reset have a default setting with all channels used
