Build fails for a newly created build configuration based off an existing working configuration. For example, let's say an existing project has a "Debug" and "Release" configuration. Both configurations build successfully. Then the user creates a new build configuration based off (copying) the "Debug" configuration. The build will fail for the new configuration will fail. There are differences in the generated makefiles. The project build properties between the original and new configuration appear similar.

This issue does not occur with all project. But it can be reproduced with some of the mmWave examples such as:
