Description

"MSP430: Error connecting to the target: Unknown device" error occurs when trying to connect with some MSP430 devices on Linux. There is no issue on Windows.

Issue was reproduced by customers using an RF430FRL152 HEVM and an MSP430L092 using Ubuntu 20.04.
