If possible, don’t re-initialize the Enet LLD when running on Main R5F0 Core 1.
Enet Loopback application on J721E fails to setup interrupts in second iteration:
============================= Enet Loopback: Iteration 2 ============================= EnetAppUtils_reduceCoreMacAllocation: Reduced Mac Address Allocation for CoreId:0 From 1 To 0 EnetAppUtils_reduceCoreMacAllocation: Reduced Mac Address Allocation for CoreId:1 From 1 To 0 CPSW_2G Test on MCU NAVSS Cpsw_registerIntrs: Failed to setup stats interrupt: -1 Cpsw_open: Failed to register interrupts: -1 EnetPer_open: cpsw2g: Failed to open: -1 Enet_open: cpsw2g: Failed to open: -1 Failed to open Enet driver Failed to open Enet driver: -1 Enet_ioctl: Invalid Enet handle EnetAppUtils_unregDfltRxFlow() failed : -2 Assertion @ Line: 474 in enet_udmautils.c: status == ENET_SOK : failed !!!
This issue affects CPSW_2G support on Main R5F0 Core 1 in J721E, only if Enet LLD is closed and then reopened. This condition may not be exercised in most applications as they often run and don’t close the driver.
