This issue was first discovered in SDK version 3.10.
When a peripheral device receives repeated channel map updates, it is possible in certain circumstances that the connection will go out of sync and the connection will drop.
The central device can send out channel updates at varying intervals. Eventually, the connection can drop. We have observed that it can happen between 2 to 50 minutes. Each channel map update in the simulation selected 9-14 random channels.
This issue has been reproduced on smartphones like the Xiaomi 6, Samsung S8, Huawei Honor 20 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 v9.0. This issue is also reproducible using TI's LaunchPad development kits.
