 Description   

Hardware polling of the Flash status requires 8 dummy cycles for the flash device on J7ES EVM. This requirement is documented in the datasheet for the flash. Currently, the dummy cycles for polling are set to zero by default. Our driver needs to explicitly set these with the following step:

  • Set the bits 19:16 as 8 in Polling Flash Status Register (offset 0xB0)
