The layer-2 CPSW example in the SDK overrides the ALE configuration in the application code (l2_cpsw_cfg.c). Now regardless of what changes the customer makes in syscfg, the example will override this.

Since modifying the syscfg functionality for a single example is not possible, this should be documented as a part of the SDK example documentation.
