The secure board configurations by default allow JTAG unlocking which is a security loophole for production if left unchecked.

      https://github.com/TexasInstruments/mcupsdk-core-k3/blob/k3_next/source/drivers/sciclient/sciclient_default_boardcfg/am62px/sciclient_defaultBoardcfg_security.c#L246-L246

The SDK must enforce the stricter security policies by default and so must not allow JTAG unlocking out of the box.
