With the removal of the DVT DSS APIs in CCSv7 and its upcoming replacement not yet ready, the only alternative for customers to obtain EnergyTrace data in a scripted way is through the stune utility.

However, this utility is not ported to a non-Windows OS, which effectively blocks any development in this area.
